Our fitness classes are graded to ensure an appropriate and safe level of activity for everyone.

 1. BEGINNERS – Suitable for those who have never exercised, never attended classes, never had the confidence to exercise, or who are returning to exercise after a period of absence.

 2. INTERMEDIATE – Suitable for those who are already taking part in another form of exercise, and who have attended classes before.

3.    ADVANCED – Aimed at the more active participant who has a high level of fitness and attends classes on a regular basis.

 

THE FITNESS CLASSES

Aerobic Fat Burner – A high intensity aerobic workout containing a series of martial arts moves, a great way to raise the intensity of your workouts. This class improves fitness, endurance, co-ordination and flexibility. It burns fat!

INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED

Body Conditioning – A combination of an aerobic fat burning section followed by toning exercises. This class will build and tone muscle, and slightly increase your aerobic fitness and flexibility.

BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED

Step – A high-energy aerobic workout based upon the action of stepping. This class requires a lot of co-ordination and will improve your fitness and burn fat, whilst developing and toning the lower body.

INTERMEDIATE, ADVANCED

Bums, Tums & Thighs – An aerobic warm-up followed by dynamic exercises that target the legs, torso and bottom, sometimes with the use of hand weights or bars. A combination of fat burning and toning, providing an effective way to improve the shape of the body.

BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE

Circuits – An intense workout involving the use of graded exercise stations, alternating upper and lower body exercises. This class is a great way to build aerobic strength and tone/build muscle, whilst burning fat.

ADVANCED

Pilates – This class concentrates primarily on developing strong stomach and back muscles. It also involves stretching and relaxation. Pilates can help relieve back problems, as well as improving posture and flexibility.

ALL LEVELS

Yoga – Chi Yoga is a class designed to join mind, body and spirit. It contains a lot of different elements aimed at increasing your strength, flexibility and balance. It is also a great way to reduce stress.

ALL LEVELS

Body Tone – A combination of a traditional aerobics class and resistance exercises, using bars and hand weights. This class targets the whole body, providing cross-training to increase aerobic fitness, strength and toning.
